The start of the playoffs were slightly anticlimactic since almost half of the league was on a bye, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have some interesting games. We did however only have one game that really mattered in the winners bracket, but we did have 2 games amongst the scrubs in the consolation bracket.

Game of the Week

In the winners bracket, we saw Frank Jr. continue his losing streak, unfortunately this time it really mattered. Jose took the W by a slim 6 point margin over Frank Jr to take him into the next round of the playoffs. His strong RB pairing of Cook and Barkley were enough to cover the rest of his poor showing team. If Jose wants to make it deeper in the playoffs he’s going to need better numbers from the rest of the squad, or equally monster numbers from those two. On Frank Jr’s side, a Higgins start over Amari Cooper would have seen him through, but sometimes that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Final Score: Thee FrankTheTank (112.0) to (118.28) Raider Nation

Ouch of the Week

As we know, Tyler missed out on the playoffs by a few Points For. This week, his team decides to put up 157 points against Brad in the top of the consolation bracket. Those points just came a little too late. If he would have made the playoffs he would have wiped the floor with Jose and be looking into Round 2. But I guess there are no IFs in Fantasy Football.
