The top 4 in the standings all fell in week 5. Jesse also got his first loss after a trash game against Thee FrankTheTank. Was it just a fluke week or are the bottom teams shaping up after a busy first few weeks on the waiver wire? At this point, 8 of the teams are only separated by a win. And the team leading the pack has the second lowest points scored AND has the least amount of points scored against, so maybe he's not as good as his record shows. Who knows, but the season is shaping up to be a close one.

Oof of the Week

Quanitovanchito had a dismal showing against the rookie Alex. Scoring only 75 points on the backs of L. Jackson and Davante Adams should be illegal. In fact, only two starting players scored double digits, one of the two being the kicker. Oh, and he also got smacked as his opponent put up 178 points. The difference in the scores is greater than the points scored. Embarrassing. Oof.

Coach of the Week

This goes out to all the underdogs who won this week. We got that dawg in us.

Beast of the Week

Mark finally is beginning to feel justified for picking J. Chase as the second overall pick. After an underwhelming start for his Cincy pair, it finally looks like they are picking up steam for his side. Ja'Marr put up a week high 52.2 pts.

Honorable Mention: DJ Moore (49 pts)

Feels Bad of the Week

At this point, 2 of my first 3 picks aren't even on my team. One is injured and the other one was my fault for picking such a trash player. After seeing the number 1 pick enter the IR list, I went back and looked at the first three rounds of the draft, there are at least 10 picks who have missed a game, moved into the IR, or underperformed their draft spot.

Trade Block

Want:

  • Team I Touchdown There: We're good for now, but always looking for RBs.

Block:

  • Team I Touchdown There: Najee Harris is finally dropped. Yes, my healthy third round pick was finally dropped into the waivers, enjoy.

Week 6 Preview

Last place Brad is taking on first place Jesse. As mentioned above, Jesse's team has had the luckiest schedule with only 497 points scored against him the first five weeks (less than 100 pts a game!), on the flip side Brad has had 725 points against him. Brad has also scored more points than him throughout the season but fantasy is not about those stats, it's about those W's and L's. Will Brad right his season? Or will Jesse continue pulling in those clutch W's?
