That’s right, we are now past the halfway mark in the fantasy regular season. Some of y’all are looking cozier than others, and some of us look like we’re in a blizzard with no blanket in sight. Some started slow and now are looking steady and some of us have been consistently shit. Some of you drafted well, while some of you managed the waiver well, and some of us can’t expect Puca to fix all our problems. Now that we are halfway, some of you have hope for the postseason, and some of us have despair.

Coach of the Week

I think we have a new record for the most points scored in a weekend. I haven’t taken the time to actually confirm this (as I write this, it would be a cool thing to throw up on the website, a little record hall of fame) but as far as my memory serves, Challenge Me had an outstanding week with 193.42 points! CeeDee had a week high 41 pts and 3 other players had +25 pts. Congrats to Mark on setting the record (unless someone else remembers scoring higher).

Feels Bad of the Week

Is there such a thing as a commissioner's curse? If so, I definitely gave it to Q. I’ve never shouted him out before, as I don’t particularly care for him. So what happens the week after I finally give him his dues? That’s right, he was on the opposing end of Mark’s wrath. And you know what? That brings a little smile to my face all the way down here in 9th place.

Honorable Mention: Bert – wasn’t he in the top 3 in the beginning of the season? He is still the highest scorer in the league, yet he’s now in the bottom 3.

Week 9 Preview

We have the battle of the haves vs have-nots with last place Brad going up against 1st place Jose (where did he come from?). Will it play out like we all expect? We also have rookie Alex going up against Jesse in a midpack showdown that could be crucial come playoff cutoff. Also note that there is a current 4 way record tie for 1st place, so seeding could get interesting.
