Holy shit! If you don’t like that, you don’t like NCAL fantasy football. We had a semi-final game be decided by 0.36 points! That means one unlucky bastard missed out on the money round by less than one reception, 4 running yards, or even 10 passing yards. Such is the game we play!
Game of the Week
As I alluded to, the honor goes to the semi-final matchup between Team Challenge Me and Team Thee FrankTheTank. Mark was looking to make another run at the championship game for the second year in a row, but the young buck stopped him in his tracks. Frank Jr was able to hold off Mark by a margin of only 0.36 points. What I would imagine hurts the most is the fact that Mark had 3 players on the bench that could have easily won him the game. Congrats to Frank Jr on making his first finals appearance.
As an NCAL exclusive, I was able to catch up with Mark after the devastating loss, here is the transcript of the interview:
Me: "Good evening, Coach Mark. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us here at NCAL After Dark. We know it's been a challenging game. Can you share your thoughts on what happened tonight?"
Mark: [inaudible sob]
Me: “I’m so sorry, were there specific decisions that you think had a significant impact?”
Mark: [sobs louder]
Me: “Umm”
Mark: [sobs uncontrollably, snot bubbles pop]
