Hey there. It’s me, your long lost humble commissioner, but you can now call me Big Daddy or Two Time Champ. The choice is yours.
Championship Game
The championship matchup was between the two highest-scoring teams in the league: Pukachu and Challenge Me. Mark entered the ‘ship with the number one QB and WR (Lamar and Chase), but he faced the most consistent team in the league—me. With only three losses throughout the entire season and an unrelenting will to win, I went into the championship game with a simple yet effective strategy: score more points than my opponent. And guess what? It worked.
Lamar Jackson and Ja’Marr Chase gave it their best, but you simply can’t prepare for such a foolproof strategy. When the MNF zebra blew the final whistle, I had once again reigned supreme over you plebs.
Final Score: Challenge Me (Mark) 132.42 to 136.48 (Ame) Pukachu
Jose Didn’t Make Playoffs
Can we take a moment to celebrate the fact that Jose didn’t even make the playoffs? Where his reign of terror ends, I hope mine begins.
Last Place Punishment
Ay dios mío. Brad, of team Show Me Your TD’s, did not, in fact, get very many TD’s. His abysmal, lowest-scoring team only had two players in the top 10—and they were both tight ends. In a year when the TE position was especially bad, this did not bode well for Brad.
However, where there is rain, there is a rainbow (beer) at the end. As the dead-last finisher, Brad will now be responsible for providing beer during the live draft. Thanks, Brad!
End of the Season Haiku
Pukachu triumphs,
Jose fades, playoffs denied.
Brad owes us the beers.

Dynasty Rankings
The updated rankings are now reflected on the Team page of the website. You can see your dynasty points by looking at the back of your card. As a reminder, the cards are ordered by dynasty rank. I also wanted to note that for those that were here during the first two years might remember Amado, well somehow he is still ahead on points over 2 currently active members. I wont say names but that’s embarrassing.
End of Season
That’s it, we’ve officially wrapped up the 6th season of the National Couch Athlete League. Personally, I loved it. I had a great time winning, but I hope you all had a great time losing. Keep your chin up, just like the Raiders, there’s always next year.
Speaking of next year, we agreed to have a live draft for the upcoming season. So, how early is too early to start setting up dates?
Hope you and your families have a fantastic 2025!
